Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary:
The Crew Leader will be responsible for preventative maintenance across all company-owned buildings, including but no limited to, mushroom houses, Phase 1 and Phase 2 Compost facilities, maintenance shops, and corporate offices. The Crew Leader will be required to work in all conditions and be capable of working indoors or outdoors.

Education & Training:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience:

  • Knowledge in all phases of carpentry, plumbing and roofing required.
  • General handyman background is required.
  • Able to operate a backhoe, loader and small dump truck and snow plowing a plus.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • A professional and positive attitude.
  • Dependability and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Ability to operate a vehicle is required; the operation of forklifts is a plus.

Certifications / Licenses / Registrations:

Valid Driver's License is a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Basic carpentry, plumbing and maintenance tasks to ensure the stability of the company.
  • Able to climb ladders and no fear of heights.
  • Able to work a minimum 40 hour week accepting overtime as needed. general working hours are 6:45 am. to 4:30 pm. Monday through Friday.
