Do you have experience as a welder? Can you read a blue print and set a welder? Can you pass a weld test with no assistance? Are you mechanically inclined and would you enjoy working with tools to create and build equipment that is used for military and airline operations? We are now hiring a 1st shift Welder to work in Eau Claire.

POSITION – Skilled Welder

JOB LOCATION – Eau Claire, Wisconsin

STARTING DATE – Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Long-Term

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – Mon-Thurs, 6:00am-4:30pm (OT on Friday if needed)

STARTING PAY – $21-$26/hour

BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED is required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Previous mechanical welding experience is required, must pass weld test

In this role, you will be working as a welder, using blueprints to create and fabricate parts and equipment for airlines and the military.

Responsibilities

- Following all established safety policies and procedures

- Maintain organized and clean work area to promote quality atmosphere and safety

- Weld per instructions, drawings, and blueprints

- Assist in training of new employees as needed

- Assist in troubleshooting procedures to resolve product or production problems

- Must be able to work effectively with other members of his/her team, as well as other departments

- Will operate material handling equipment including lift trucks

- Responsible for quality requirements of work completed

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Reading and understanding standard shop work instructions and blue prints

- Understand verbal instructions

- Have a working knowledge of welding, be able to set up your own welder, understand blueprint and welding symbols as well as different gauged welding

- Fulfill overtime work schedules as requested to meet customer demands

- Demonstrated work attendance reliability

- Physically able to perform all jobs on all assembly lines including heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
