Davis County Animal Care is currently hiring for a full-time Office Specialist located in Fruit Heights, Utah. This position performs front facing customer service and routine clerical work at the animal shelter. Applications will be accepted through September 10, 2024. Follow us on Social Media
Pay Range & Benefits:
$17.48 - $22.20/hr*
*Salary based on qualifications and experience.
In addition to competitive pay, we offer the following benefits:

Requirements
High school graduation or equivalent.
Preference for 2 years of related work experience performing front facing receptionist duties in an office setting within the last 3 years.
Preference for bilingual in English/Spanish with customer service work experience.
The work schedule for this position is 9:30 am - 6:30 pm, Monday - Friday, onsite.

Day to Day Duties
- Performs receptionist duties including greeting visitors to the animal shelter and providing assistance with adoptions, foster care, and owner surrenders.
- Answers phone calls and handles any question or matters of a non-technical or routine nature and directs callers to the appropriate staff member.
- Provides information to the public, answers inquiries, and resolves complaints from the public.
- Performs routine clerical work including file searching, filing documents, sorting and distributing mail, answering telephones, relaying messages, and receiving and distributing supplies.
- Fills in data on impound and license forms; reviews reports and forms for accuracy and completeness.
- Enters and updates information in the shelter database.
- Receives fees and handles money; posts information to various records.
- Operates computer terminal, multiple-line telephone system, point-of-sale machine, and other similar types of equipment.
