As a Welder (also known as Welding Technician, Welding Operator), you'll operate safety equipment, weld components in various positions, and manage welding equipment. You'll also monitor the welding process to prevent overheating, detect faulty equipment, and work effectively with team members to meet deadlines.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED. Vocational/Technical/Business School preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in welding, certified in one or more of the welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW).
  • Proficiency in plasma cutting or oxy-acetylene burning of metal components and air arc (back gouge).
