Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Shift Lead to join our team at La La Land Kind Café. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the café during your shift, ensuring excellent customer service, and promoting our mission of spreading kindness.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead by Example: Demonstrate and promote the values of La La Land Kind Café through exceptional customer service, kindness, and positivity.

- Supervise Team Members: Provide guidance and support to baristas and other team members, ensuring they adhere to company standards and policies.

- Customer Service: Engage with customers in a friendly and positive manner, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.

- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the café, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring cleanliness and organization.

- Training and Development: Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing development opportunities for existing team members.

-Problem Solving: Handle any issues that arise during your shift, including customer complaints, equipment malfunctions, and staff concerns.

- Financial Responsibilities: Assist with cash handling, sales reporting, and ensuring accurate transactions.

- Promote Kindness: Encourage a culture of kindness among team members and customers, finding creative ways to spread positivity within the café and the community.

Requirements:

- Experience: Previous experience in a leadership role in a fast-paced café or similar environment preferred.

- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

- Attitude: Positive, kind, and enthusiastic with a passion for promoting kindness and providing excellent customer service.

- Availability: Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
