Duties:

Qualifications:

  • Must be a resident of Sarasota/Bradenton area in South Florida


Work Arrangement:

Full-Time role - Monday to Friday work schedule with occasional weekend shifts

Benefits Include: - Paid Time Off (PTO) - Sick Leave - Paid Holidays

Compensation:

$16 - $18 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently perform general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center, or landfill in Sarasota/Bradenton, FL.
  • Responsibilities include yard clean-up, equipment cleaning, yard work, and operating site equipment like blowers and pressure washers.
  • Perform general office maintenance, repairs, painting, and janitorial work, along with other job-related duties assigned.
  • Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, and actively participate in improving safety and health in the workplace.
  • Experience in a landfill, transfer station, or waste management is preferred.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly, work outside in all weather conditions, and work well both independently and in a team.
  • Successful completion of required safety, operational, and other training within the scheduled time period.
  • Effective communication skills and demonstrated technical knowledge to complete routine tasks safely.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Qualifications:
  • To be considered for the General Laborer position in Sarasota, FL, US, a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent qualification is required.
  • The candidate must have a minimum of 6 months of related experience in an industrial environment.
