Job DescriptionJob Description

Seeking a Regional I&E Excellence Engineer to provide electrical and instrumentation technical guidance and support to all sites. Assist sites as needed on I&E related failures, reliability improvements, capital projects, and assistance during turnarounds.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance to all sites on electrical and instrumentation related matters.
  • Support all sites with I&E related failures, reliability improvements, capital projects, and assistance during turnarounds.
  • Work with procurement group on I&E initiatives
  • Support site efforts to continually improve the long-term equipment availability and performance of electrical and instrument assets.
  • Provide support and consultation for problem analysis, risk assessment, root cause analysis, etc. for equipment failures where the failure root cause is not well understood.
  • Provide capital investment and expense project ideas based on engineering analysis and feedback from operations and other site personnel.
  • Assist other employees in accomplishing company goals.
  • Lead and/or provide team support for incident investigations for high impact or high potential impact incidents as assigned.
  • Follow instructions and perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

Candidate Details:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. BS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant maintenance/engineering experience in a process industry such as petrochemical plant, chemical plant, or refinery required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a TWIC card.
  • SAP or similar CMMS experience preferred.
