HydroForm Operator

Duties and Responsibilities: As a HydroForm Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and precise operation of hydroforming equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Aligning workpieces on the machine with precision.
  • Applying lubrication to machine parts following established work instructions.
  • Operating hydroform equipment to execute desired operations.
  • Monitoring pressure gauges and height settings to ensure proper adjustments and adherence to settings.
  • Conducting dimensional and visual inspections of parts to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintaining a clean work area at all times using 5S methods.
  • Performing required preventative maintenance on assigned presses within specified time frames.
  • Ensuring all preventative maintenance is carried out according to the established schedule.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in hydroforming operations.
  • Works within established procedures with moderate supervision.
  • Identifies and assesses problems using standard procedures, making sound decisions.
  • Developed knowledge and skills through training or considerable work experience.
  • Capable of independently running the majority of jobs within the department.
  • Experience in a sheet metal machine shop highly preferred
