Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Manages the scheduling and timelines of the in-house and outsourced production to ensure the company meets all deadlines. To include, managing material, parts and equipment availability, scheduling production and monitoring the production process for problems. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Update schedule to show product flow through prep department moving through to paint and final ship date.
  • Create, implement, control and update the monthly production schedule
  • Create, implement, control and update the quarterly production schedule
  • Update and control the Plan 6/12. (6 months + 6 months forecast)
  • Update and control the maintenance monthly plan
  • Update and control the maintenance yearly forecast.
  • Implement, update and control Planning KPI’s for the truck body and bucket production
  • Be part of the team to implement a lean production model for Austin products in Casper.
  • Coordinate with satellite facilities for parts pick up and deliveries.
  • Coordinate all parts orders.
  • Work alongside the Plate Procurement & Processing Supervisor to ensure proper delivery of steel.
  • Work alongside of the other business units to schedule projects to be delivered to customers.
  • Work alongside of shipping and receiving to coordinate load outs.

Education and/or Experience:

Applicable associate degree and minimum 3 – 5 years related experience and/or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Planning or scheduling experience 3+ years requiredany industry.
  • Microsoft excel medium or advanced level.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts in the Fabrication Shop, is exposed to outside weather conditions while walking to the Fabrication shop and Shipping and Receiving over an irregular dirt and gravel surface, and, while in the Fabrication Shop, is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of ultra-violet radiation from the welding arc. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional exposure to the very loud environment of the fabrication shop.
