What Matters Most:We seek a Safety & Quality Specialist to ensure occupational safety, food safety, and quality compliance through training, implementation, and monitoring.
Your New Role:As Safety & Quality Specialist, you will:
- Lead daily safety walks and investigations into workers' comp claims and safety incidents, ensuring prompt resolution and compliance with safety regulations
- Conduct training sessions and maintain certifications for forklift operation, First Aid, CPR, bloodborne pathogens, fall protection, and PPE compliance
- Track and analyze safety and quality metrics.
- Ensure compliance with regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and company policies.
- Improve quality tracking and collaborate with global teams.
- Develop and oversee cleaning and sanitization procedures.
- 3+ years of experience in EHS/Quality in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with sanitation chemicals and environmental monitoring.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Good computer skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Preferred: Experience in logistics/supply chain.
