Cleaning & Restoration Technician Qualifications and Experience

Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).

Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.

Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.

Highly Desired Certificates from Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC)

o Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)

Cleaning & Restoration Technician Job Summary

Assist in gaining and retaining customers by fulfilling the companys obligations through the timely and effective delivery of residential and commercial cleaning and restoration services.

Cleaning & Restoration Technician Responsibilities

Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services the company offers (Opportunities exist to earn Mold Mitigation; Fire & Water Damage Restoration certifications and experience quickly). (Note: Compensation levels will reflect the experience level of the technician. Hourly rate increases as experience and certifications are gained in water mitigation, mold, trauma scene, and asbestos certifications are added. Commissions are possible on top of hourly rate)

Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.

Communicate effectively with customers.

Perform basic equipment maintenance.

Perform basic vehicle maintenance.

Inspect completed work.

Complete the technicians daily log.

Complete Work Orders.

Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.

Maintain inventory of related supplies.

Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.

Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.

The chosen applicant will be one of the first employees of Voda Cleaning & Restoration of West Raleigh and will be trusted to be a self-starter with little oversight. The company plans to expand rapidly, resulting in its first employees to become managers of new employees just as fast. Pay will rise as responsibilities and experiences are added and trust is gained. Voda Cleaning & Restoration of West Raleigh is expected to be operational by the first of 2024.
