We are hiring a Closing Associate I to work remotely for our team.

Job purpose

The Closing Associate I is responsible for auditing for compliance with Per Diem and Recording Fee overage requirements in a Post Close environment. This position will have daily contact with Settlement Agents to ensure accurate and timely refund of any overcharges.

Duties and responsibilities

• Request Disbursement Verification from Settlement Agents
• Request verification of recording fees charged by the county from Settlement Agents
• Audit for per diem interest charged compared to disbursement date provided to ensure any overcharge is refunded timely
• Audit recording fees charged to the borrower compared to charge by county and ensure timely refund of any overcharge
• Request refund if applicable from Accounting
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED

We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401k. The pay range is $20 - $25/hr. This is a full-time position.
