JOB TITLE: Graphic Designer

DEPARTMENT: Brand

REPORTS TO: Brand Director

The Genius Brand is a leading natural supplements brand expanding into new channels of distribution to meet the growing demand for our products. We have built our business around quality, service, and the ability to provide the absolute best product for our customers. We are an exciting and fast-growing company to work for and currently seeking a Graphic Designer to add to our growing team.

The Graphic Designer is a supporting creative role on the Genius Brand and part of the Brand Management team. Aligned with key department goals and the Brand Manager, this role focuses on delivering best-in-class creative designs by:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Develop innovative creative solutions, including identity designs, logos, illustrations, and brand campaigns.
  • Manage assigned projects with responsiveness and proactive communication.
  • Design marketing materials aligned with the marketing team's objectives.
  • Conceptualize and develop creative toolkits for campaigns.
  • Present ideas effectively to various teams.
  • Collaborate with others to support corporate client branding initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MUST be proficient in using Social Media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook...)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in graphic design.
  • Experience in logo design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating effective use of hierarchy, typography, and imagery.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and InDesign).
  • Strong presentation layout skills.
  • Advanced photo and graphic retouching abilities.
  • Motion graphics and video editing skills are a plus.
  • Illustration skills are desirable.
  • Understanding of typographical hierarchies and font selection.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
