We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Full Charge Bookkeeper. In this position, you will be responsible for managing various financial aspects of our business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Reconciling cash, bank accounts, petty cash, and revenues regularly.
  • Maintaining an accurate general ledger and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Generating journal entries for all accounts, including fixed assets.
  • Monitoring and managing the business' cash flow effectively.
  • Issuing invoices to customers and overseeing payment collections.
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements, along with additional reporting as required.
  • Remitting payroll, income, sales taxes, and income taxes in a timely manner.
  • Processing employees' timesheets and efficiently managing payroll procedures.
  • Supervising a team of staff, including payroll clerks, billing clerks, or payables clerks.
  • Collecting necessary information for auditing, tax, and year-end purposes.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a bookkeeping certification.
  • Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper.
  • Prior experience with Sage 300 or a similar ERP
  • Previous experience in preparing financial statements.
  • Ability to work efficiently under strict deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
