OverviewAs the Medical Receptionist you will mainly assist the practice with front office support and providing customer service in-person and over the phone. You will be the friendly face that greets patients and assists with any paperwork and scheduling needs, as well as assist them into the exam room. This role will also support the back office team with cleaning and organizing exam rooms, and updating patient files as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet patients
  • Answer all incoming phone calls
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Verifying insurance
  • Collecting co-payments
  • Data entry in EMR/EHR software
  • Support front and back office teams
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing exam rooms
  • Complete other projects as assigned

Qualifications and Skills
  • Min. 6 months of recent Office/Reception experience
  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Prior scheduling experience
  • Prior Medical Receptionist experience preferred
  • Familiar with office equipment
  • Accurate data entry/typing
  • Familiar with HIPAA policies

Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:45AM - 5:00PM)
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly
