Job Summary

The role will be responsible for the definition, implementation and improvement of quality related practices and procedures for the organization, while working closely with employees and suppliers to ensure products and processes meet specifications and standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Quality engineering support for manufacturing and project management. Develop inspection requirements.
  • Resolve discrepant material issues.
  • Create and maintain quality documents such as control plans and inspection plans.
  • Create and manage APQP Control Plans and PFMEA documents.
  • Develop appropriate action plans to mitigate identified issues.
  • Analyze data and develop reports and metrics. Perform and implement CpK plans.
  • Respond to customer complaints using root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Support teams with diagnosing and resolving technical problems.
  • Support Quality Inspection by ensuring that inspection plans and acceptance criteria comply with customer's product requirements.
  • Oversee First Article Inspections and Reporting
  • Communicate directly with customers, suppliers, processers related to product concerns or process changes.
  • Manage ISO Process

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology or other applicable education.
  • Quality or Manufacturing Engineering in a machining or manufacturing setting: Minimum 3 years.
  • Blueprint reading and GD&T expertise.
  • Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma.
  • Expertise in metrology and advanced / automated inspection methodologies.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Knowledge and application of statistics to collect and interpret data and take appropriate actions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and teaching skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking ability.
  • Confident independent decision making.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • 20-30% travel required.
