DARCARS Automotive Group is now hiring for Automotive Technicians
As an Automotive Technician you have the responsibility of understanding and completing routine repairs necessary for the repair of customer vehicles. You will perform general repairs and diagnosis with some assistance. These repairs include but are not limited to light engine work, transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, electrical systems (starters and alternators), HVAC systems, steering & suspension systems.
Purpose:
To diagnose, repair, and maintenance vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, heating and cooling, etc. to specification.
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
- Communicate clearly the diagnosis and repairs with other technicians as well as ASMs.
- Continue to learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
- Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
- Assist other technicians in diagnosis and repair.
Qualifications:
- ASE Certified in 1 or more categories or mechanical skill and leadership equivalent as determined by management
- Ability to diagnose the majority of customer concerns
- Completion of some or all instructor led training
- Completion of some or all online available courses
- Positive attitude and willingness to work with a team
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs
