Supervisory Responsibilities - Service Department to include Service Advisors, Technicians, Valets, Service Cashiers, Loaner staff, and Warranty Admins.

Duties/Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to: 

• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all service department staff.
• Provide an exceptional, modern luxury customer experience.
• Maintains reporting systems required by General Management and the Factory.
• Attends manager meetings.
• Hold monthly technician meetings.
• The Service Manager would report directly to the Fixed Operations Director.
• Monitors and controls the performance of the department using appropriate reports, tracking systems and surveys.
• Monitors customer appointments and workflow.
• Review Warranty processes and performance.
• Review Customer Experience performance and indicators.
• Strives for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments.
• Develops and implements a marketing plan which promotes new and repeat business.
• Maintains safe work environment.
• Manage the loaner fleet and loaner department staff.
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Perform monthly service advisor reviews
• Perform annual service technician reviews
• Other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities 

• Working knowledge and experience of automotive products, repairs, and documentation.
• Possess mechanical and auto parts knowledge.
• Manager experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Punctual, reliable and must have good communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
