Our owner operated model is aimed at expanding the ability for older adults to live happily and healthfully in their own homes for as long as possible.


We are currently looking for a Scheduler to join our team. Full-Time positions include a full benefits package including Medical, Dental Insurance, PTO, 401k. and tuition reimbursement.


JOB SUMMARY

The scheduler is responsible for the organizing and coordinating clerical duties and office procedures. The role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety. Under the supervision of the Scheduling Supervisor, prepares participant charts for new participants and other program needs. Sends for and released medical information, compiles interdisciplinary assessment and treatments summaries, files, copies, and faxes medical information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Scheduling outside medical appointments for participants, keeping an organized clinic calendar and daily agenda.
  2. Organizing clinic layout, ordering equipment and supplies as needed.
  3. Participates in clinic meetings and overall planning related to clinic.
  4. Answers phone in a timely and polite manner.
  5. Greets all participants in a positive way.
  6. Follows PACE policies and procedures and OSHA safety guidelines.
  7. Maintains confidentiality of all company procedures, results, and information about participants.
  8. Performs other duties as required or requested.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. High School Diploma or GED required
  2. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance.
  3. Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant contact.
  4. Pass a comprehensive criminal background check that may include, but is not limited to, federal and state Medicare/Medicaid exclusion lists, criminal history, education verification, license verification, reference check, and drug screen.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  1. Knowledge of Medical Records assembly and organization
  2. Skilled in establishing and maintain effective working relationships with participants, co-workers, medical staff, and the public
  3. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  4. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  5. Computer literacy
  6. Customer service focus
