Position Responsibilities:

· Develop electrical hardware design and development of Polara’s new products.

· Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.

· Test documentation of prototype and beta stage production.

· Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems.

· Perform various electrical tests and product performance characterization.

· Assist with modification and maintenance of existing products.

· Assist software and manufacturing teams as necessary.

· Create and improve standard operating procedures.

· Perform root cause analysis of product failures to improve designs.

· Research and identify new critical components with the latest and future technology in mind.

· Utilize the following tools and technologies: Altium designer, Windows Operating System, Jira, Confluence, Oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter, and 3D printer.


Requirements:

Position Requirements:

· The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a closely related field.

· The qualified candidate must have at least 5 years (60 months) of experience in an electrical engineer position or closely related occupation.

· The qualified candidate must also have at least 5 years (60 months) of experience with all of the following: (a) developing electrical hardware design; (b) performing electrical tests and product performance characterization; (c) performing analysis of product failures to improve designs; and (d) utilizing the following tools and technologies: Altium designer, Windows Operating System, Jira, Confluence, Oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter, and 3D printer.

· All experience may be gained concurrently.
