Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
  • Perform surgeries and dental procedures
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
  • Provide compassionate care and communicate effectively with pet owners
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine
  • Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure the highest standard of care
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Virginia
  • Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for providing exceptional care to animals
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience with electronic medical records is a plus
