Advantage Truck Group (ATG) has a new opportunity for an Outside Parts Sales Associate to join the team on full-time basis. The Outside Parts Sales person is responsible for assisting managing parts sales to both fleet and retail customers in his/her territory supporting a wide range of commercial and municipal vehicle applications, fleets and owner operators. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Grow and maintain business within assigned territory through scheduled customer visits and phone sales calls.
  • Maintain a neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
  • Utilize all tools available including technology, OEM offerings and vendor programs to promote sales and provide support to the customer.
  • Complete call reports daily through business CRM.
  • Deliver parts to customers only when necessary.
  • Work with local branch Parts and Services manager to resolve customer issues.
  • Participate in OEM training assigned by your immediate supervisor.
  • Participate in customer visits with manufacturers or vendor representatives as needed.
  • Grow and maintain business in your territory
  • Communicate with inside parts sales representatives to process customer orders.
  • Other various projects assigned by your immediate supervisor.

Requirements

  • Understanding of the Automotive or Heavy Duty-Truck industry.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, internet and business program proficiencies.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Required Business Dress

Qualifications

  • Sales Experience preferred
  • Heavy truck dealership experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have a valid state Driver’s license.
  • Must be able to maintain stationary positions throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform required tasks.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
