Great News The Developmental Disabilities Division is growing at DePaul Community Resources. The ID/DD Division seeks a Full-time (37.5-hour workweek) non-exempt Homefinder/Trainer to serve the Ashland office.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Home Finder & Trainer recruits and prepares families to sponsor an individual with intellectual and or developmental disabilities into their home. This position provides training to families and employees regarding the overall care, responsibilities, and services available to individuals served and applicable regulatory guidelines. The Home Finder & Trainer may have a small caseload and provide case management and supportive services to individuals served and provider families. This position participates in an on-call rotation. This position requires driving to various locations approximately thirty-five to thirty percent of the employee's working time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:
A minimum of a Bachelors degree in a human services field is required, with one year of experience in providing casework services to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. A human services field may include social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, psychiatric or vocational rehabilitation, special education, and gerontology.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The following may be required after a conditional job offer: current DMV driving record with results that comply with insurer guidelines; drug and alcohol screening with satisfactory results stipulated by applicable governing, funding, or regulatory agencies; documentation of a PPD test, chest x-ray, or screening from a qualified medical professional indicating the absence of TB; criminal and child protective services background report. The applicant shall not have been convicted of any barrier crime(s) on the criminal background report. The applicant will have no founded disposition of child abuse or neglect as documented by the Child Protective Services background report.

Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
