Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMBS is hiring Mechanical Engineer in Urbana, OH. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity. FULL JOB DESCRIPTIONPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design layouts, foundations, anchors, piping, controls, etc. for installation of new processes or machinery, or revisions of existing ones.
  • Prepare cost estimates and funding requests for improvement projects.
  • Produce designs that will be safe, maintainable, reliable, and environmentally and legally acceptable.
  • Plan and supervise installation of new plant projects coordinating process downtime, equipment deliveries, maintenance forces, contractors, and service suppliers.
  • Provide engineering expertise throughout the plant for solutions to production problems, development of new techniques, and evaluation of existing equipment and procedures.
  • Work directly with Production, Maintenance, and other Engineering employees.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Engineering B.S. and five years of experience in a manufacturing setting desired.
  • Effectively utilize computer-based applications including Microsoft Office, Solidworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in team-based activities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional analytical problem-solving and equipment vendor management skills.
