The Transportation Admin provides clerical and administrative support to the Transportation department.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Transportation Safety Program through clerical and administrative functions that include customer service, driver training, log processing, scanning, filing, computing and department interaction.
  • Review and Rotate Pre and Post Trip Reports to ensure 3-month file capture.
  • Updating and producing Drivers' Training Handbooks.
  • Process and Maintain "Trip files" for all OTR (Over-The-Road) Drivers, including receiving, logging, scanning, reconciling and filing.
  • Processing all incoming and outgoing shipping and transportation invoices including receiving, collecting, distributing, reconciling, mailing and filing.
  • Pick up South Mill Drivers' (to be sent to the facilities) checks on Thursday and attach payroll sheets, then deliver to dispatch to go out with SM Drivers' paperwork.
  • Processing all Driver paperwork including receiving, logging, scanning, reconciling and filing of logs, daily Di's, time cards, pay sheets, payroll envelopes, checks and expense reports.
  • Ensure internal and external delivery of all payroll documents and paychecks throughout weekly schedule.
  • Assist in the New Driver hiring process.
  • Assist with the billing of Drivers' Backloads.
  • Process Green Road trip reports, analyze and distribute to appropriate management.
  • Customer Service support for Transportation contacts.
  • Process all incoming mail for SM Operations Offices.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma
  • 2 years business office experience
  • Payroll experience preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • CDL background a plus
