Job Summary - Human Resource Generalist

Communicates, collaborates and interacts as needed to provide human resources and general business support within the applicable scope of the organization’s engagements.  Presents professionally with attention to superior customer service.  Assists in the development and implementation of human resource related policies, procedures systems and deliverables.  Assists in human resource related project management.  Facilitates the effective and efficient execution of human resource related functions as assigned.  Assists in problem solving human resource related issues for our clients.  Maintains current knowledge of current laws and industry trends. 


Job Responsibilities - Human Resource Generalist

  • Administers company and client policies and procedures to ensure fairness and consistency.
  • Assists with the development, implementation and maintenance of compensation programs.
  • Assists with the development, implementation and administration of human resource related systems, policies, procedures and protocols as assigned to industry standards and to company expectations for excellence.
  • Assists clients with questions and problems to ensure adequate resolution of human resource related issues.
  • Ensures superior human resource support within the scope of the engagement & the breadth of autonomy as defined by the direct supervisor.
  • Communicates, interacts, provides relevant documentation and responds to inquiries – to both internal and external parties – in a manner that is professional, punctual, comprehensive, service oriented and in compliance with industry best practices and company expectations for excellence.
  • Completes assigned work with the highest level of professionalism, to optimal industry standards, within assigned timelines and in a manner compliant with organizational expectations for excellence.
  • Continuously identifies ways to improve company systems & the organization’s ability to provide the highest levels of service, support & client value.
  • Develops and facilitates human resource training for general use, assigned clients and external third parties.
  • Maintains the highest levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality to optimal industry standards and in a manner compliant with organizational expectations of excellence.
  • Prepares reports and presentations for general use, assigned clients and external third parties as assigned.
  • Problem solves issues to ensure effective client support within the scope of the applicable engagement.
  • Provides administrative support to clients as assigned including, but not limited to the facilitation of human resource information systems, effective maintenance of client personnel files and the execution of various industry related functions.
  • Provides recruiting and onboarding services for clients as assigned.
  • Researches industry trends and changes to federal, state and local labor laws to promotes the advancement of superior organizational knowledge.
  • All other specialty duties as may be required and assigned.
