Industrial Electrician

Position Overview:

The Journeyman Electrician will install, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical systems, including electrical panels, lighting, motor controls, and conveyor systems in Industrial Water/Waste water and Oil & Gas. In addition, this position will be familiar with installing power supply wiring and troubleshooting types of electrical components in Industrial settings. 

Major Duties:

• Respond to service calls quickly and within the expected timeframe
• Discuss the customer’s request for repairs or installation and provide estimates for cost and timeline
• Follow specifications on blueprints or technical drawings for installations
• Perform routine maintenance on various systems as requested
• Conduct all repairs and installations according to code
• Notify client immediately if the plan needs to be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Current Colorado Journeyman Electrician License
• Valid Driver’s license
• 5+ years’ experience as an electrician; extensive experience in Industrial Settings such as, Water/Waste Water and Oil & Gas.
• Experience with leading construction projects
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and follow specifications
• Ability to work independently
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems

• Bend and Install Rigid conduit
• Understanding of Instrumentation devices
• Motor terminations
• Ability to work independently
• Customer service skills

Physical Requirements:

• Walking, occasional lifting to 35 lbs.
• Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use
• Periods of sitting and standing may be necessary
• May be requested to work outside of normal work schedule to meet business needs.

Working Conditions & Hazards:

• If the individual visits the operations worksite, personal protective equipment including but not limited to head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, and safety shoes are required. Safety rules, including OSHA and

DOT requirements, are strictly enforced.
