General Role Description:

As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our Information Technology department and ensuring that our IT infrastructure is reliable, secure, and efficient. You will play a crucial role in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems that support our business objectives. In addition, the IT Manager must be a champion of Artificial Intelligence and help the company move forward with implementing AI tools. This position reports to the Vice President of Technology and Operations.


This position can be fully remote - if local it would be a hybrid position being in the office in Catasauqua PA as needed.

Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT policies and standards for the organization.
  • Ensuring critical systems are backed up and recoverable.
  • Ensure the security of data, network, equipment, and backup systems.
  • Managing our Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments
  • Manage inventory of company hardware

Planning:

  • Proactively identify hardware and software replacement cycles
  • Recommend annual hardware and software budgets

Administration:

  • Monitoring IT Budget
  • Project management for IT projects
  • Follow established and proper HR protocols.

Execution:

  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes
  • Timely onboarding and offboarding of employees' hardware and company accounts
  • Purchase company IT equipment
  • Ensuring security patches are installed on our company assets, including our websites
  • Manage company-wide software tools/accounts, including phone systems
  • Researching and making recommendations for new/replacement IT systems
  • Maintaining company domain DNS records, including records necessary to assist with email delivery
  • Develop and execute a plan for how your department will help achieve company goals
  • Additional duties as time permits.

Deliverables:

  • Tracking and reporting on Infrastructure and Security Key Performance Indicators and Activity Performance Indicators

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven work experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks and network administration, including major cloud providers such as Azure/AWS/Google
  • Hands-on experience managing Microsoft365 (including Sharepoint) and Google Workspace
  • Hands-on experience managing WordPress environments
