The athletic trainer coordinates, supervises and administers athletic training services under the direction of Beatrice Community Hospital and in collaboration with the Athletic Director at contract schools. The athletic trainer provides services to prevent, assess and rehabilitate injuries to student athletes, acts as liaison between the contract schools and health care providers, and maintains accurate records pertinent to students' participation in athletics, their injuries, and treatment programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, current board certification by the National Athletic Trainer Association, currently licensed as an athletic trainer in the State of Nebraska. Current BLS Certification. Previous experience in athletic training and competitive athletics is preferred.
Shift Schedule:
Full-Time; M-F Variable hours depending on season, evenings and weekends will be required as needed.
