Overview

The Yard Manager is the head of the Yard Department. This position reports to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

Able to lift 100 lbs unassisted

Able to stand and kneel for extended periods of time

Able to climb ladders and work from heights

Able to work in the elements year-round

Business Attire as defined by the Company Handbook

Responsibilities

Drives the Objectives of the Yard Department

Leads by Example

Friendly, Professional Interaction with Customers and Staff

Clean Uniform and Well-Groomed Appearance

Seeks and Provides Insight for Business Improvement and Efficiency

Assists in the Creation and Modification of Departmental Processes and Procedures

Duties

Oversee Facility

• Clean, Orderly, Safe and Neat Yard Area,
• Develop Plans for Store Betterment

Oversee Product

• Clean, Well-Stocked and Merchandised, Proper Protection and Display, Physical Inventory, Current Accurate and Visible Labels, Monitor RO Points

Oversee Staff -

• Manage Day-to-Day Yard Activities

• Manages Team Performance including but not limited to Monitoring , Documenting, Holding Accountability, and Performance Reviews.

• Manages Employee Training and Development

• Manages and Oversees Yard Safety
