West Electric LLC is based in East Hartford CT with offices in Fairfield County and Hartford county, as well as Charleston SCand is owned by Ed West. Ed comes from a family of electricians, including his father who has been in the business for over 40 years. Ed has attended and completed all electrical required schooling at Howell Cheney Technical School, graduating at the top of the class. Now having been in the field for over 25 years working on all aspects of electrical including residential jobs up to and including large-scale commercial projects.

Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics to determine wiring layouts and specifications.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Install and connect electrical components, such as switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to coordinate electrical work on construction or renovation projects.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Follow electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked for documentation and billing purposes.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.

Job requirements
- Must hold an E-2 or E-1 electrician license
- 3-5 years of experience with electrical systems
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders
- Proficiency in electrical wiring, circuitry, and systems installation
- Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical issues and conducting repairs
- Familiarity with electrical equipment, tools, and materials used in the trade
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) license or certification
- Must be Authorized to work in the U.S.
