AR/AP Specialist

Summary: Seeking a highly motivated AR/AP professional. This position will be responsible for proper invoicing, cash application, and collections, as well as AP invoice posting and vendor dispute resolution. This position will be a liaison for our business partners and management to assure that issues are resolved in a timely manner. This role will work cross functionally to resolve issues in billing, purchase orders, shipping, and receiving.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Post cash from all sources including checks, ACH, credit cards, and wires.
  • Collect on past due accounts
  • Investigate and root cause customer deductions
  • Investigate and root cause vendor invoice mismatches
  • Account reconciliation and closing duties monthly
  • Drive improvement cross functionally to support accuracy.

  • Experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Basic capabilities and experience in the use and application of PC tools, mainly Excel.
  • Detail oriented problem solver.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
    Comfortable in a team environment with changing priorities and time pressures.
  • Effectively work with virtual team members cross-functional departments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to relate to all levels of management.
  • Experience with ERP System.
  • Proficient verbal and writing skills.
  • Excellent mathematical aptitude.
  • Proven ability to problem solve.
  • Professional customer service behavior and response.
  • Ability to resolve issues and seek out the root cause.
  • MS office experience.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree a Plus
  • Experience in AR and AP
