Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client is seeking a Writing Instructor to support an IC customer in Bethesda, MD.
  • Conduct individual consultations with students on writing research papers, projects, and theses.
  • Develop and deliver academic and writing skills workshops and seminars for graduate and undergraduate students.
  • Review data from institutional effectiveness and consult with faculty on student writing needs.
  • Instruct students in utilizing resources available in the library and writing center.
  • Provide information on writing center services during new student orientation.
  • Attend faculty and staff meetings/committees as required.
  • Maintain the physical space of the writing center in collaboration with library staff.
  • Research Methodology and Design

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree
  • Strong writing skills and extensive experience with collegiate-level writing
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with research and research writing
  • Proficiency in using technology
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends
