What Will You be Doing?
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
- Provide prenatal, postnatal, and general gynecological care, including Pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions such as STIs, menstrual disorders, menopause, and infertility.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and non-pharmacological therapies as needed.
- Educate and counsel patients on reproductive health, family planning, contraception, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and perform procedures such as IUD placement, Nexplanon placement, colposcopies, and biopsies.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, BHCs, care coordinators, and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care.
- Coordinate patient care and referrals to specialists as needed.
- Develop and implement health promotion and disease prevention programs tailored to women's health needs.
- Provide patient education materials and resources on topics such as prenatal care, breastfeeding, menopause management, and cancer prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay current with advancements in women's health through continuing education, professional development, and participation in relevant organizations.
- Contribute to policy development, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects within the practice setting.
What We Need from You:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program with a focus on Women's Health.
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of practice.
- Prescriptive authority and DEA registration as required by state law.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in women's health, obstetrics, or gynecology preferred.
- Experience in primary care or family practice is a plus.
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in women's health care procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, Christ-directed and patient-centered approach to care.
