Job Summary

The Project Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and marketing our HVACR product portfolio. Responsibilities include management of the product road map and life-cycle planning, new product development, voice-of-customer research, commercialization and launch plans. The Project Marketing Manager determines short and long-term strategies and tactics for product marketing. Evaluates effectiveness of programs and concepts. Maintains an understanding of product features, benefits, pricing, positioning, design, application, and advertising.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Intermediate knowledge of HVACR technology and applications a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, technical, business, product marketing or equivalent experience
  • 3 plus years of product management and/or marketing experience
  • Tollgate/stage gate knowledge, product lifecycle management and new product development
  • Proficient in sales copywriting, content, and campaign asset creation
  • Strong project management skills and ability to facilitate multiple projects.
  • Ability to analyze sales and financial data.
  • Effective communicator and developer of presentations individually and within a team selling approach.
  • Adept analytical and creative thinker with a design eye.


Job Duties / Responsibilities
  • Create detailed plans and strategies for developing new HVAC products.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities through Voice of Customer and market share analysis.
  • Establish short and long range visions for products
  • Effectively communicate product development priorities and product/project progress
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, competitive landscape and gaps in the market
  • Positioning and messaging for new products and features
  • Empowering the sales team with clear value propositions
  • Setting up marketing campaigns for demand generation
  • Outlining the benefits of product features using customer-facing messaging
  • Develop a deep understanding of the market and competitors
  • Craft compelling content like blogs, guides, and case studies that attract and educate potential buyers
  • Define pricing strategies to optimize sales volume and market share
  • Plan events and webinars to generate buzz and pipeline
  • Leverage channels like analyst relations and partnerships to expand reach
  • Monitor buyer sentiment, product feedback, and market trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on development and launch readiness
  • Develop commercialization and launch tactics.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Ability to develop effective communication pieces such as (presentations, written memos, etc.).
  • Ability to synthesize technical information.
  • Adept analytical and creative thinker with a design eye.
  • Market research: macro, industry, customer (commercial/contract, hospitality, residential), product.
  • Tollgate/stage gate knowledge and ability to implement new processes.
  • Proficient project management skills. (MS Project knowledge preferred)
  • Support the team when needed.
  • Follows all policies and procedures of Occupational Safety and Health, Human Resources and Quality Department. Reports any safety deficiency to immediate supervisor.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
