JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for facilitating and coordinating all safety training throughout the facility, using the Company learning management system. Communicate company policies and procedures to ensure employees have a solid understanding of what is expected. Complete all necessary paperwork associated with safety training to track participation and compliance. Must be willing to facilitate training in front of a group as well as one-on-one and will work to perpetuate a "Creekstone Proud" culture through attitude and actions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Complete and record safety training for Maintenance new hires as part of their on-boarding.
  • Facilitate and lead large group discussions in positive and engaging ways to ensure comprehension.
  • Facilitate annual safety training for all relevant employees, including but not limited to Lock Out/Tag Out, Forklift/Power truck, Hot Works, etc.
  • Set up and take down projection equipment and utilize the learning management system.
  • Manage time and information accurately in a fast-paced environment and with appropriate discretion.
  • Maintain a positive, flexible and adaptable working style.
  • Maintain excellent relationship with production supervisors, trainers, managers and HR.
  • Must be assertive, sensitive and tactful in working with a diverse group of people.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Prior manufacturing experience is required; maintenance experience in a food processing facility is preferred.
  • Able to work in both a classroom or lab environment as well as a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate processes and policies clearly and accurately.
  • Functional with basic office technology, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Internet navigation, etc.
  • Able to learn the Company’s learning management software to a high level of competency.
  • Must take initiative in problem-solving and project a positive, Creekstone Proud image.
  • Facilitate all required training as assigned.
  • Serve as a role model for all new hires in word and deed.
  • Have a willingness to maintain and develop a high level of job skill competency.
  • Discreet judgment and confidentiality are expected.
  • Bilingual preferred.
