Job Summary

As the Lead Enterprise Security Architect, your primary role involves shaping and guiding the technical and architectural strategy to align with the product roadmap, ensuring that solutions not only meet their intended purpose but also seamlessly integrate security measures across the board. Your leadership will be pivotal in weaving security into the fabric of all organizational projects. Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Stakeholders, and Technology teams, you will delve into business requirements, translating them into solutions that are not only efficient and effective but also robustly secure. Leading the architecture team, you will pinpoint key architectural enablers, laying down the complex groundwork upon which feature teams can build. Your oversight will ensure that throughout the feature development process, the team adheres to architectural guidelines, security principles, and procedures, guaranteeing that the architectural vision and security posture are consistently maintained.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Streamline security architecture to align with business and EA initiatives.
  • Advise on integration strategies and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Design secure solutions based on organizational needs.
  • Translate stakeholder business requirements into effective solutions.
  • Align architecture with business objectives and requirements.
  • Identify changes and requirements for robust architecture and security.
  • Define requirements and documentation for approved projects, ensuring security.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate security threats.
  • Guide technical decisions and work with teams to implement enterprise solutions.
  • Communicate architectural vision aligned with product goals.
  • Support Agile, DevOps, and Lean principles in solution development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for quality solution delivery.
  • Recommend tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop scalable and maintainable architectural plans.
  • Stay informed on the latest architectural trends and practices.


Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    • Experience: 8+ years in enterprise web application architecture and implementation.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Advanced proficiency in C#.NET, SQL, Vue.js, Angular, and React.
      • Expert in Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including VMs, Blob Storage, and various PaaS capabilities like Azure Functions and AKS.
      • Skilled in microservices, API integrations, and Azure App Services.
    • AI and Security:
      • Strong background in AI, machine learning with experience using Azure Machine Learning and Cognitive Services.
      • Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, OWASP) and compliance (PII, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR).
    • Development Methodologies:
      • Well-versed in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, DevOps, and Lean principles.
      • Proficient with Azure DevOps, MS Teams, SharePoint, and Office 365.
    • Leadership:
      • Strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of leading and managing teams.
