The Automotive Service Porter at Volkswagen in Akron, Ohio will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting with the smooth operation of the dealership's service department. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry and will report to the service manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is an hourly position with a competitive compensation package of $14 to $17 per hour, paid weekly. In addition, the selected candidate will be eligible for healthcare benefits, paid time off, and other company perks.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Park and retrieve customer vehicles from the service lot.
- Ensure the service lot is organized and clean.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as filling up gas, checking tire pressure, and changing wiper blades.
- Transport customers to and from the dealership when necessary.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service department.
- Run errands for the service department as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Basic automotive knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
