Job DescriptionJob Description

KMS, Inc. is a leading Precision Metal Fabricator and has immediate openings for equipment operators in a fast-paced production environment. Applicants should have prior experience in a manufacturing environment. Training will be available. Excellent starting salary and benefits package available.

Compensation:

$35,000+ yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Stack, mark, pack, and transport finished workpieces
  • Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from parts
  • Measures workpiece dimensions
  • Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces
  • Completes required documentation/paperwork for all workpieces
  • Other duties as assigned by supervision/management
Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3 – 6 months experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
