Plans, implements, and directs activities and systems to ensure compliance with quality standards and licensure.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for hiring, mentoring, supervision, and performance management of employees within the 24-hour ABA homes.
  • Provide training and support to the ABA Home Manager and Lead RBT. Fill in as acting manager when both ABA Home Manager and Lead RBT are absent.
  • Ensure work schedule meets requirements of supervisor and department.
  • Provide 24/7 on call support to ABA Home Managers and Lead RBT.
  • Ensure that all PWS medical appointments are scheduled and attended by a Sunnyhill representative.
  • Monitor medications and medical documentation for the people we support and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with internal nursing team and medical stakeholders to ensure the health and safety of the people we support remains top priority.
  • Assist with documentation to ensure benefits and eligibility remain active.
  • Review daily documents to ensure funder requirements and agency policies are adhered to.
  • Supports ABA Home Manager with employee performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Conduct site health and safety assessments and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues identified.
  • Assists with and is present for intakes and moves within their caseload.
  • Ensures accurate records for PWS and staff are being maintained in each site.
  • Participates in ISP meetings and provides input and training to the team.
  • Provides coverage when necessary and approves any PTO requests.
  • Expedites resolution to compliance issues identified in the monthly monitoring reports in collaboration with the ABA team.
  • Participate in staff meetings for each site supervised.
  • Participate in required ongoing meetings.
  • Ensures People We Support are making satisfactory progress towards their goals as outlined in their annual plans through monthly documentation reports.
  • Create and submit schedule as required by supervisor.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and auxiliary Sunnyhill departments to prioritize the health and safety of all.
  • All other duties projects as assigned.
Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field or two (2) years of directly related experience.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Must have Registered Behavioral Technician certification or be working towards certification. If working towards the certification the certification must be completed within three (3) months of hire.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to stand, walk, and sit four (4) hours at a time.
  • Repetitive bending and reaching up to two (2) hours a day.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds from floor to waist.
