As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Maintenance Specialist, Machinery Repair Technician), you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment. This includes performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of hydraulic and mechanical presses, as well as secondary equipment like welders, riveters, and grinders. You'll also ensure the cleanliness of machines and machine parts, and communicate any unresolved maintenance issues to your supervisor.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required. Additional maintenance education preferred.
  • 3-6 years of experience in a medium to heavy industrial maintenance facility.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical power (480 V) and machine control systems. Ability to troubleshoot these systems.
  • Experience in repairing welders, riveters, grinders, etc.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring schematics, and drawings. Ability to use dial calipers, tape measures, etc., and apply arithmetic, algebra, and geometry to solve maintenance issues.
