As we said, we build some amazing projects. From NASA projects to large corporate buildings (like Facebook) were building America and we need structural welders to help us deliver flawlessly every single time.

S&R Enterprises is a nationwide and Caribbean steel erector with over 300 employees. Were growing fast and we need your help in the Phoenix area.

For experienced/certified ironworkers with a welding certification, were paying $28 to $32 per hour with the average ironworker in Phoenix getting about 20 hours of overtime per week.

Job Requirements & Responsibilities
  • Must be an US Citizen or Naturalized Citizen.
  • Follow company and job site safety guidelines, procedures, and policies
  • Welding, torch cutting, arc gouging, grinding
  • Must be certified or able to pass a 3G and 4G weld test (Innershield FCAW)
  • Operate equipment (scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.)
  • Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload
  • Familiar welding with Inner-Shield FCAW processes
  • Calibrate welding tools and equipment according to the parameters listed in the welding procedure specification (WPS)
  • Carry out post-welding treatment of structures by cleaning, buffing, and polishing finished workpieces
  • Inspect and evaluate welds to ensure they are free of defects and conform to set specifications
  • Employ appropriate welding methods in completing structural fabrications
  • Able to read and understand weld symbols
  • Must be comfortable with heights
  • Knowledge of commercial construction.
  • Fall protection and safety equipment knowledge
  • Operate aerial working platforms as well as work from the erected structural steel.
$28 to $32 per hour PLUS OT and per diem
