We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Utility Worker to join our team and help keep our golf course and facilities in top shape.
**Job Description: **
The Utility Worker – Fleet and Grounds will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our golf course and supporting our fleet of vehicles. This position involves a variety of tasks related to landscaping, equipment maintenance, and general upkeep of our community's facilities.
**Grounds Maintenance: **
- Perform routine mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns and landscaped areas.
- Manage irrigation systems, including monitoring and repairing as needed.
- Assist with seasonal planting and landscaping projects.
**Fleet Maintenance: **
- Conduct regular maintenance and minor repairs on golf carts, utility vehicles, and other equipment.
- Ensure all vehicles are clean, functional, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Report major issues and coordinate with service providers for repairs.
**General Upkeep: **
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance facilities and equipment storage areas.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or special activities as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests, offering assistance when required.
**Qualifications: **
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, fleet management, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to operate and maintain a variety of landscaping and maintenance equipment.
- Basic mechanical skills and experience with vehicle maintenance and repair.
