The machine operator will run the Elsner machine in the warehouse. This role is a first shift role, with hours from 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday - Friday. Some overtime will be required during busier business seasons.


Specific Duties and General Responsibilities

  • Continually operate and monitor machine
  • Maintain a high degree of attention to machine waste, quality, and performance.
  • Ability to analyze and solve machine
  • Follow company and machine safety protocols and
  • Direct assigned labor
  • Set-up machinery and ensure all production materials are
  • Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed.
  • Visually inspect production and quality of
  • Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate
  • Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of assigned area and
  • Assist in training of new
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Skills

  • Basic mechanical
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Comfortable with multiple tasks at one
  • Self-starter and dependability.

Equipment Knowledge

  • General manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to use general warehouse tools and
  • Basic mechanical
  • Industrial shrinkwrap equipment

Physical Requirements

  • Be able to lift 50-60

  • Requires periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
