We at A Bright Future, are looking for a dynamic, organize, and process driven Compliance Officer for our Northbay, Sacramento Eastbay and Los Angeles regions.  Our Compliance Officer are responsible for ensuring that all corporate processes and procedures comply with the law and regulations of the Regional Centers. The Compliance Officer is also responsible for ensuring that company operations comply with internal standards too. 

Duties:

  • Monitors all operational processes and procedures using a compliance management platform  o ensure that the company complies with all legal regulations and ethical standards.
  • Manages information flow by researching, recording and analysing data and information. With a regular flow of information and conducting  compliance risk assessments, they ensure that the business runs smoothly.
  • Educates staff so that they are informed of any legal changes and updates to compliance guidelines.
  • Acts as contact person and liaison between department heads and senior management.
  • Conducts regular assessments to determine whether policies are compliant with the law.

Job Requirements: 

  • 3 – 5 years' proven experience in a compliance officer role in SLS.
  • Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.
  • Brilliant oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, leadership, clients, and the general public.
  • Must have a positive attitude and a passion for helping people  
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Job Type:

  • Full-time
  • Onsite in American Canyon
  • Hourly non-exempt  
  • Monday - Friday
  • 9 am - 6 pm
