SUMMARY_____________________________________________________________


The Accounting Specialist position performs various corporate accounting, support, and record keeping functions under the general supervision of the AP Supervisor.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to, the following)

  • Record cash, checks and bank transfers.
  • Process approved CME and license employee reimbursements.
  • Cash Receipts processing by applying payments in accounting ERP.
  • Create A/R Sales Invoices
  • Work with Supervisor on any past due A/R Accounts.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to general ledger.
  • Enters daily site cash deposits into the accounting system.
  • Prepare general ledger journal entries such as month-end accruals.
  • Prepare multiple bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with year- end audit schedule preparation.
  • Handling email communication and other communication with internal customers.
  • Performing general office clerk duties such as incoming mail.
  • Assist Accounts Payable on an as need basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Reads, speaks, understands and writes proficiently in English

  • Proficiency in the use of computers and office equipment and software (AP Automation, Expense Management)

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE___________________________________________________________


Two years experience in Accounting; OR graduation from an accredited technical school in related field AND two years related experience.

Must be able to use and have advanced computer skills and be proficient in the Microsoft software products.
