Journeyman Plumber

Integrated Facility Services is a successful mechanical contractor with over 55 years serving the St. Louis metropolitan area and outstate Missouri. We are looking for experienced plumbers to join our team.

Job Duties:

Install, maintain, overhaul, generally repair, renovate or rebuild plumbing systems and/or connections thereto including the necessary installation of prefabricated materials required to install a fixture in a new or existing system which shall include waste/vent/water lines, warranty service, remodel projects, additions to a new or existing plumbing systems and installation of such equipment in new or existing buildings occupied by the owner or a tenant.

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain pumps, lift stations, lawn irrigation, backflow preventers, plumbing fixtures of residential and commercial plumbing systems.

Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Five years technical training or the equivalent work experience

OSHA 10-hour Safety Training Certificate or the successful completion of the 10-hour OSHA training course in Construction Safety & Health within 12 months of hire date

Knowledge of the safety rules for the handling of electricity and certain hazardous materials

Possession of current Class E driver's license and clean driving history

Membership in appropriate collective bargaining unit

Ability to lift and carry 80 pounds on a recurring basis

Ability to climb a ladder carrying 50 pounds

Ability to work on rooftops

Ability to work out of doors during hottest summer days, coldest winter days and

varying degrees of inclement weather

Punctual, dependable, excellent attendance habits

Professional appearance

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well

Ability to create and maintain friendly relationships with customers and co-workers
