We are seeking an experienced and well-versed Sous Chef to join our team at the NOUN Hotel in the heart of Norman As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring the smooth running of all kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of culinary experience and knowledge
- Ability to work flexible hours and long days on their feet
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
