Moxie Salon and Beauty Bar, an emerging and rapidly growing full-service luxury beauty salon, is seeking a passionate and super-talented individual to join our team. HAIR STYLISTS / COLORIST:


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Hair Stylist with a strong specialization in hair coloring. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a creative flair, and a deep understanding of the latest trends in hair color techniques. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair services, including cutting, styling, and most importantly, delivering exceptional color services tailored to each client's needs.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide a full range of hair services, including cutting, styling, coloring, and other treatments (e.g. keratin, hair extensions, etc)
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering expert advice on hair color choices and styling options.
  • Apply various hair coloring techniques, such as balayage, ombre, highlights, lowlights, and color corrections.
  • Stay current on the latest hair color trends, products, and techniques to ensure clients receive the best possible service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to salon hygiene standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
  • Upsell salon products and services to clients to enhance their overall experience.
  • Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on techniques and trends
  • Collaborate with the salon team to provide an exceptional client experience
  • Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries
Qualifications:


  • Valid cosmetology license
  • Proven experience as a Hair Stylist / Colorist for at least 2 years with a strong portfolio of previous work
  • Extensive knowledge of hair color theory and techniques.
  • Ability to work with all hair types and textures.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with high energy
  • Familiarity with front desk operations in a salon setting
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Strong teamwork abilities and a commitment to collaboration
  • Strong sales skills to effectively upsell salon products and services
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creativity.
