SUMMARY: Production of raw material into finished product

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Strategize while being conscious of task at hand

· Prioritize and execute daily work load in timely fashion

· Operate forklift and overhead crane

· Must understand the quality aspect of the rod being made for the customer

· Understanding of how to operate the coiler and size, weight and uniformity of each coil

· Basic furnace operation skills to allow for relief duty

· Must have an understanding of the water pressure and temperatures along with furnace temperature limits

· Follow all ISO, safety and company policies

· Must keep a clean and organized work space

· Applicant must have a record of reliable attendance and timeliness

· High School diploma or GED equivalent, mechanically inclined

· Strong written & verbal communication skills

· Time management skills

· Understanding 6S methodology and supporting it

· Computer skills including Microsoft Office programs

Able to learn analytical skills as required for quality assurance
